Croeso! The Town House at Brecon is a convenient town centre, luxury, boutique B&B overlooking the River Honddu and the impressive remains of the old Norman Castle with distant views South to the splendid Pen-y-fan. Originally built in the early 1800's The Town House has been a shop, a restaurant and a guest house in different times and was once joined to a parade of houses called Berkeley Square - long since demolished to make way for Market Street which the house now fronts.

Situated where once a medieval drawbridge spanned the River Honddu linking the old fortified town of Brecon to the castle our Grade II Listed Georgian Town House is a 'stones throw' from the many town centre shops, pubs & restaurants, the popular Theatre, Cathedral and the market hall providing the ideal base for your holiday in the wonderful Brecon Beacons National Park whatever the time of year.

An extensive renovation began in 2012 to bring the old house back to life which was finally completed in late 2016 converting it back to its original design and layout over 5 floors as a boutique B&B befitting its grand Georgian facade.

After successfully running pubs, hotels and B&Bs in Wiltshire and Devon with careers immersed in the service and hospitality industries, Glenn and Paula have returned to their roots to open the first boutique style B&B in the centre of Brecon where individuality, personal attention to detail and the comfort and relaxation of guests are paramount.
